Brownouts in Ilocos Norte Could Become More Frequent
Every summer, the whole province of Ilocos Norte suffers from brownouts every now and then. Some are scheduled, others are not. This has been the trend in the province since I was a young boy. With the decreasing amount of water in the rivers during summer, this trend could worsen in the future.

Here in Laoag City and Ilocos Norte, summertime is Fiesta time in many towns and cities. I presume that holds true in many parts of the Philippines.
