Weather In Ilocos Norte

After two weeks of continuous rain, today saw Ilocos Norte in summer mode again. Summer because the sun is once again shining so bright and I did some cleaning up in the kitchen. I also made some minor adjustments to my vehicles’ brakes and charged their batteries.

I have realized one thing in maintaining motor vehicles: your worst enemy after the rain is rust. My garage is open and my motorbike and owner jeep were soaked in water for two straight weeks. I had to make sure the contact points and wirings are in great condition. My owner jeep had a hard-start this morning and it took three twists of the ignition switch before it started successfully. Batteries weaken during the wet season. Battery terminals were also rusty and I had to scrub them thoroughly with sand paper. Goodness! This day really is a stressful day.

To add to my burdens, I was obligated to update all my 6 sites today because the Google bot and Yahoo! slurp (crawler of Yahoo!) have not visited my sites that have not been updated. I was able to write 6 or 7 articles today (this being the 6th or 7th, I’m not really sure) and doing so has drained my energy to go on bloghopping. I really have to take some rest and continue my blogging tasks in a few hours. I hope it rains a little because it’s so hot in Ilocos Norte after the downpour of rain for the longest time in many months.
