Weather in Ilocos Norte in December
Now that the Holiday Seasons are coming, weather in Ilocos Norte has not been good especially now that December is coming. It’s cold at dawn but very hot all throughout the day. It’s like riding a see-saw or dealing with a woman who changes her mind every few hours.
There had been no rains here since September. Farmers in Ilocos Norte are primarily the ones who are affected by this climate. Yes, it has become a climate because 10 years ago, weather in Ilocos Norte was still “normal”. During the “ber” months, everybody can already feel the chill in their bones. But because of the aggravating condition of the planet (thanks to global warming), everything has changed. Weather has become unpredictable and it’s not doing the province any good. Businesses are dwindling, people’s health conditions are getting worse and agriculture is suffering. Food production is low and this is not a good sign for the economy of the province.
If these conditions persist, people from Ilocos Norte might start migrating to other places where the weather is better (like Baguio City) and other places South of Manila.
