Ilocos Norte is Safe From Typhoon Frank

As many of you do not know, Ilocos Norte is not affected by typhoon Frank. Typhoon Frank hit the Visayas area hard especially Romblon and Iloilo. News on GMA TV and ABS CBN confirm this report.

I was just wondering where PAGASA got its data flagging this province as Signal Number 2. It’s really funny.

For those who are here in Ilocos Norte, there were no indications whatsoever of a storm coming. The sky has been clear for many weeks and we have not had a steady pouring of rain (which farmers seek) for many months.

Ilocos Norte is a dry land. My goodness. But maybe we are much better off here (at the moment) than with our Filipino brothers and sisters in the Visayas.  We can only hope victims of the storm can get back on their toes as soon as possible.  Our prayers are with you.
