Motor Vehicle Registration at LTO
Today, my Jeep was registered with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and it took another whole day of my time. We arrived at the office at 8 o’clock in the morning and went home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. It was really a grueling wait-and-see experience.
This experience prompts me to seek help from friends of employees at LTO (read: fixers). However, the cry for help came very late as I have already completed all the requirements. Next year, I’ll have my papers handed over to a friend to do the waiting for me. I will just give him money as compensation for his labor.
This is the downside of having a motor vehicle like an owner-type jeep. I was wondering if buying a car (used car of course) will make my life easier when registration period comes. Are cars easier and much faster to register? I doubt. lol! I’m planning to buy a second hand car in two months and we’ll see what will happen in a few more months.
Well, this is just another day at a government office where I got tired of waiting instead of actually writing articles for my sites. Goodness! And quite frankly, I’m getting tired of these annual routines.
