USA Network’s new original series In Plain Sight is a new TV series which tells the story of a strong woman named Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack). She is a U.S. Marshal attached to the highly secretive Federal Witness Protection Program known as WITSEC, assigned to Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a gripping tale of suspense, action and maybe deceit and betrayal. In Plain Sight starts airing on USA Network on June 1st, Sunday, at 10 pm this year so watch for it.

The character reminds me of my mother. She was a strong woman (when she was alive. She raised seven children single-handedly. Her inner strength is something I have always admired since I was young. What I did not like about her is she easily trusted people - people who betrayed her in the end. Maybe this is the flaw in her character that I have consciously avoided to acquire. These days, it’s not easy to trust anyone.
