I Should Update This Site More Often by Featuring Ilocos Norte
My wife commented that this site has been in the sidelines because I do not update it as often as my other sites. Maintaining a dozen websites and blogs is not an easy task, I said. However, I’ll consider her suggestion seriously - talk about Ilocos Norte, Philippines more from now on rather than advertise products. Of course I will still insert advertisements here but significantly lesser in number. 
I can’t give up blog advertising yet. Not just yet. I need to earn something from blogging. I’ve been publishing articles online for more than one year and I really believe I have nothing to be ashamed of. Earning some money online is a fun activity. You get to write (feed your passion) and earn a little for your labor. Good deal.
Now, with respect to this site, I think I’m going to put a team together to gather some facts and take photos of my province to show the world how wonderful and beautiful Ilocos Norte is. This time, I’d take this site to another direction. I will try to “localize” topics here that could include schools in Ilocos Norte, travel destinations, natural resources, Ilocano culture, business and the like.
Moreover, my otehr sites are also undergoing some major changes in terms of blog design (Wordpress themes) and topics. I have prepared and outlined topics for the following sites:
What Have You (Nursing Researches) - more topics on health, nursing education, nursing articles, past studies on nursing (both in the classroom and hospital settings).
The Reporter (News and Events) - more topics on Philippine business, showbusiness, entertainment and local news.
Technology Talks (Computer Tips, Tricks, Gadgets and Technology News) - I have been writing about the latest laptops/notebooks, games, Nintendo DSi, some news on Technology, and some softwares. I think I will focus next on networking (SOHO), digital cameras, printers and computer peripherals.
Blog2learn (Family, Education, Society and Business) - I must have written more about business in this site and failed to write more on family, children, social issues and general education. I will try to post more articles about these things that I have overlooked in the past. I might even bring in some pros to make this site an education site where people can obtain ideas and innovative techniques in teaching. I’m not sure though if I can get some help in this area but I will try to accomplish this in 6 months or less.
I have also created other sites designed to discuss mathematics (and its application in other fields of science), statistics, finance and business. Unfortunately, I have not finished the outlines yet so I cannot launch them online as of now. I am thinking of launching them this month or early November.
